We love going to the museum and visit often thanks to birthday memberships from Grammy & Grandpa.  Here are a few pictures from our latest museum day.

Midnight Bath

The stomach bug hit our house which prompted a midnight bath for sweet Noah.  He just looked so cute after we cleaned him up - - couldn't resist snapping some photos.  Thankfully the next morning, he was back to his silly little self.

International Festival

One of our favorite festivals in Columbia is the International Festival.  We took the boys this year for the first time to enjoy the food, dancing, and different cultures.  This year did not disappoint.   Everyone had a great time!

A little Sri Lakan food.  It was delicious!

Both boys loved it too!
We spotted the Chinese panda as we were leaving.  N&C thought he was so funny!

The boys "Year of the Tiger" hats.  Cooper loved his so much he wanted to sleep in it that night!

MATCH DAY!

Match Day - March 16, 2012.
The day when medical students all across the country found out where they would be doing their residency and what type of medicine they would be practicing.  This is probably the most exciting and anticipated day for medical students.  We found out early (because of Mike's military scholarship) where we would be heading, but we kept is a surprise from family members.  Would we be going to Seattle, WA?  Austin, TX? or Augusta, GA?  .....

Mike's mom made the cure signs for the boys.  "Where in the world is Daddy going?"
Dr. Hoppmann handing Mike his Match Day Envelope.
AUGUSTA, GEORGIA!  Mike got his #1 choice and will be practicing EMERGENCY MEDICINE at the Medical College of Georgia - Georgia Health Sciences University Hospital.  I am so proud of him.  This was a VERY competitive program and they only took a 3 residents with Mike's military scholarship.  Way to go Mike!  We are happy to be staying so close to family and friends.

Redneck Amusement Park

Some of our best friends offered us an entire backyard worth of toys that their daughter had outgrown.  We happily accepted and our once empty yard was transformed into what we jokingly call our "redneck amusement park."  We are so thankful for our "hand-me-downs."  They have provided hours and hours of fun for our family.  Thanks Josh, Stacey, and Ella! Noah & Cooper  Love. Love. Love. their playhouse, roller coaster, and slide.  I didn't get any great pictures in the playhouse, but here are a few from the roller coaster and the slide.

Gymnastics

We finally took Noah & Cooper to their very first gymnastics class.  I was beyond excited, as I had been waiting to use my "twins" coupon for months.  Mike, was a good sport and came along after some minor convincing.  Thank goodness it was FREE!  Cooper had a great time.  Noah (just like his Daddy) wasn't so sure about gymnastics or the songs the instructor was singing.  He went across the balance beam a few times and then parked himself under the tunnel to watch the action.  Sweet boy stayed right there until the end when the instructor brought out the bubbles and the puppet.  Then he ran out to the middle and danced - danced - danced!  Perhaps this is going to be a Mommy - Cooper activity.  We sure did have a great time.

Cooper loved this little boat.
Concentrating on getting across.  He was so
proud of himself when he made it across.

Perfectly content hanging out under the tunnel.
